What children need most are the essentials of unconditional love, that grandparents provide in abundance. They lend empathy, kindness, patience, humour, comfort, and impart important lessons in life. A child needs grandparents to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world.”
With its strong belief in the overall and holistic development of the child, St Joseph’s High School continues to instill values through the means of memorable gatherings. One such ceremonial occasion was on September 10, 2022, a Saturday, in which all people at St. Joseph’s witnessed the Celebration of Grandparents Day
The day was filled with oodles of blessings, happy faces, excitement and cheer as the Grandparents of our beloved children at St Joseph’s High School were dressed and all set to have a great time.
The event started with a beautiful welcome note followed by lamp lighting. It was a sight to behold as Grandparents so enthusiastically participated in each and every event created for them … ! The Highlight of the entire event was the energy packed games that involved them; participating in grandparent- grandchild partner games etc. The icing on the cake was the gratitude on our Grandparents faces as expressed their heartfelt thanks for all the love received by them. Our Principal Archana Rodrigues Ma’am addressed the audience and explained the importance of value education, with mutual respect taught both in school as well as at home, as imbibed by a life spent in the presence of grandparents. Madam implored them to keep blessing the school, its teachers and students always and forever. The immense appreciation and love received from the parents and grandparents made this event a memory etched in St Joseph’s History always and forever.
